Hampton is Peterborough’s newest and largest township being developed on the southern side of the city with easy access to the A1(M) and the city’s “Parkway” ring road system. Hampton as a whole comprises approximately 2,500 acres for residential, retail, leisure and commercial activities.

As a location, the Hamptons is among the most environmentally sustainable areas in the region and enjoys an enviable reputation for safety, good access and quality of development. There are plans to build a further 8,500 new homes over the next few years. The area includes more than 1,000 acres of open space, lakes and woodland areas.

Cygnet Park, Hampton, is located off The Serpentine and within 500m of its junction with the A1139, Fletton Parkway, approximately 2 miles due east of junction 17 of the A1(M). Access to Peterborough city centre is available via the A1260 Nene Parkway or the A15.

The Development

Summit Park is located within the Cygnet Park area, home to a number of established businesses, including Addison Lee, News International, Bulley Davey Accountants, Mencap and SENSE. British Sugar are currently building their new 50,000 sq ft HQ development within approximately 200 metres of the site.
